Detail: conceptualisation and creation

Each project begins with understanding your vision. Collaborating with architects and engineers from the first project phases - RIBA stages 2 and 3 - allows us to transform ideas into a solid layout, and create required 3D models. Once approved by the architect, these models form the basis of our ‘Design for Manufacture and Assembly’ (DfMA) process and fabrication drawings.

The process moves onto RIBA stages 3 and 4 where, with the project engineer, we detail the structural scheme and develop connections and spans. The resulting model shows panel layouts and splits for production, and forms the foundation of the stage 5 assembly drawings to be used on site.
