UK's First Spider and Pillar Project - Eden Lake Retreat
Reflect on a ground-breaking event which unveiled the FIRST-EVER project in the UK to utilize our innovative “Spider and Pillar” connectors. This historic occasion brought together visionary minds from Rothoblaas, Cudot, Studio Allen and ConstruktCLT to present a suspended marvel set against the picturesque backdrop of a serene lake.
The event showcased a single-story structure delicately resting on steel beams, featuring a CLT flat slab spanning an expansive open surface of 15m x 25m without intrusive posts and beams, offering a breathtaking panorama of the tranquil fishing lake.
The mission: to instill confidence in designers with the renowned "Spider and Pillar" products engineered by Rothoblaas for UK projects.
