As the world’s first exposed eucalyptus CLT structure, the pavilion functions both as a stage and an amplifier. Acoustically optimised by Charcoal Blue, it enhances its surroundings and projects sound outward. Designed for disassembly and reuse, it allows for easy repurposing or relocation across various sites.
Originally built and situated overlooking the Thames River within the heart of Trinity Buoy Wharf, this structure will be moved to Houghton Hall where it will serve as a permanent stage nestled in the woodlands of the site, providing a platform for music, congregation, and sonic experiences as a lasting feature of the yearly festival in Norfolk.
